Shonna McBride is the owner of Reserve Hat Co. which is a premium hat shop located in the heart of Hill City, South Dakota, specializing in quality felt and straw hats, professional shaping, and personalized customization.

Their name is a nod to the building they call home—the original Hill City bank building. Inspired by the rich history of the Black Hills, the Gold Rush era, and the generations of tradesmen, ranchers, miners, and adventurers who helped shape this region, they named the store Reserve Hat Co. to honor that legacy. The building itself once housed Black Hills Placer Gold, and today it serves as a place where western culture is continued through expertly shaped hats and thoughtfully curated accessories.

During the event Reserve Hat Co. will be offering a custom hat bar! You can choose from a selection of Stetson and Charlie 1 Horse felt hats. After selecting a hat, you can personalize it with an assortment of ribbons, hat bands, feathers and dried florals. Custom branding will also be available to add a unique finishing touch! The pricing for the final hat will depend on the embellishments you choose, but price range could be anywhere from about $160-$250.

- This allows you to customize your experience for the Pampering & Self-Care Day!
- There is NO additional fee to book a time slot, once you have paid your reservation fee.
- If you are more than 10 minutes late for your reserved time slot, you forfeit your $75 reservation fee and NO REFUND will be given.
- Please arrive 10 minutes early for your picked time slot.
